We, AIC,target to procure a large variety of products that AEON group deal with.
We develop and import a great variety of products, mainly in three departments of clothing, foods and household utensils. Also, we introduced a role-sharing type of business system on a function basis, not on a department basis. This system aims at re organizing more efficient business process beyond the walls separating each department. These business staffs function as process managers and develop a system to reflect the anticipated trend of consumers in the merchandising and selection of products we should buy. Furthermore, we proceed to the systematization of trading information and the construction of EDI system. The former forms the basis for the international division of labor and the latter permits us to share internationally information such as master information concerning group companies and shipping information of manufacturers. Our two divisions of sales and management are cooperatively making efforts to ensure the best suited SCM to unify the processes ranging from order to deli very. The reorganization of such network, distribution process and information system actualizes timely information sharing between group companies, leading manufacturers and AIC. In addition to enabling small lot and short cycle of order repeat and also lightening the burden imposed on the stock of trading partners, we are highly trusted in the industry as a trading company to provide good demand products at low prices without fail, with the ability of original product development and procurement.

Clothing Department
	The Clothing Department accounts for 55 percent of the total volume of our trade, or equivalently, it's proud of the top percentage. The department provides a wide range of clothes, e.g. women's dresses, men's suits, inner clothes, and casual or fashionable outer clothes. Besides, such clothes are closely examined for materials and we can say they are superior products also in the process technology. Moreover, the department staffs direct their energy into developing production points mainly in Asian countries in order to achieve cost performance completely. The department positively adopts a strategy of increasing user needs. We are fostering foreign manufactures that enable to meet Japanese market in all aspects of quality, price, and planning, via the department. 	The trading targets of this department are farm products, marine products, stock farm products, and the whole foods such as all kinds of frozen foods, canned foods, confectioneries, and liquors. Also, the volume of trade reaches 25 percent of the total. For perishable foods, our buyers supply the products carefully selected in farmlands directly to consumers. Also for processed foods, we make good use of materials and give a high priority to processing them in farmlands as possible. Of course, quality check is perfect as well. A lot of AIC Brand Goods and our joint brand World Eye have already become popular. We are devoting all our time to make delicious foods from the world's materials. 	This department accounts for about 20 percent of our sales volume, and the main job is to develop and import a wide range of category goods, e.g. home fashion and leisure-relating goods and daily consumables. For the purpose of supplying basic products essential to daily life at reasonable prices, the countries we make purchase are ranging to all parts of world such as USA, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Moreover, we are positively tackling with product development from global viewpoints in order to satisfy the needs of various styles of today's life.
